Grief Coaching
Are you longing to make sense of a loss that shattered your world? Are you struggling to find joy and meaning in your life? Are you scared of what comes next? Are you unsure how to support someone you care about through their end of life journey?
These are normal questions that arise when we are left bereft or when life goes sideways.
Life is full of transitions. Sadly, we are ill equipped as a society to be present to our grief, let alone that of others. Being supported by a grief doula can help you better understand what is happening to you, how you might incorporate healthy and healing rituals, and discover new ways to move through your grief.
I offer individual coaching programs and group sessions for bereaved families, teams, or groups who need support to process their grief. Here are some of the ways that I can help:
Individual coaching programs to help you feel more confident and supported in your grief.
Family support which may include planning a ceremony, engaging in rituals, preparing for end of life transition, support through Medical Assistance in Dying, bereavement care, Legacy Story, and so much more.
Sport teams and athletes can benefit from a customized coaching experience to honour the completion of their career, to express gratitude to teammates and coaches, to make peace with the ending of their season, and to learn how to process losses in a healthy manner.
Communities can come together to collectively mourn a loss. Having the guidance of a grief doula can help you design a gathering that supports communal healing. This might include celebration of life, funerals, death rituals, commemorative events, and other healing practices to honour the deceased.
